  • Christmas Party

    My husbands work had their Christmas Party at The Queensbury Hotel this year and we stayed the night. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a king size bed. They ladies at the front desk were sweethearts! And the lobby was to die for! Beautifully decorated for the Christmas holiday! We went up to our room on the 4th floor to our gorgeous bedroom! They are remodeling all of the rooms and we were lucky enough to get one! And honestly to God, it was gorgeous! The party they held for us was great! The bartenders were as nice as could be and the food was delicious! Then in the lobby they had a jazz band playing Christmas music in the corner. Comfortable sitting every where!! So so welcoming! Really, just wonderful! Then off to bed after the party to sleep on the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! I kid you not!! Wow! It was like sleeping on a cloud. If you could do such a thing! I would stay in the room again in a minute! Absolutely loved this hotel! Cozy, quaint, peaceful, pleasant, clean,
    Perfect!

  • Quaint but...

    We stayed at the Queensbury while visiting a sick friend. It is a nice, older hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is INCREDIBLE: friendly, helpful and competent. We've stayed there twice and feel the hotel needs a bit of updating. It is very clean but one of the bathrooms had no where to put your things while showering. There were no pictures on the wall or any decorations to speak of. Again, a nice hotel with an exceptional staff.

    My husband was admitted to the ER at Glens Falls Hospital and because he was in critical condition, we elected to stay in Queensbury. The Queensbury Hotel was recommended and we were so glad. We needed two rooms. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, even though they also gave hints of the age and history of the hotel. We loved the combination of old and new. We were given a discount because we had a patient at Glens Falls Hospital, which was greatly appreciated. We had a delicious breakfast. This seemed to be a great hotel for a conference or a family gathering and would be happy to satay here again!!

  • Nice Quiet Stay

    Spent a night here while traveling thru the area - nice old hotel. Lobby was very elegant & hotel staff were friendly. We had a corner room with king bed - room was a bit small, but was adequate for us and our luggage. Bathroom could've used an update - but all-in-all the room was cozy & quiet. Was a nice change from a cookie-cutter chain hotel. We had breakfast in the hotel which was nice. A good stay!

    Thank you for choosing The Queensbury for your recent travels. We were happy that you enjoyed your room and that the staff was friendly. As you may have seen we are currently in the process of renovating our rooms and will be continuing these renovations this winter. To date we have restored the lobby to its 1920's grandeur, updated the restaurants, meeting space and fourth floor accommodations. We hope to have the third and second floors completed in early 2018.   • Wonderful Experience WOW

    We have had the privilege of holding Quilting weekends at the Queensbury Hotel for many years. We continue to be in awe of the outstanding service they provide. They continually strive to make each stay better than the last. The are attentive to our every need, at times even before we ask. Every manager and staff member is professional, kind, friendly and service focused. They truly treat us and our guests like family. We feel like we are coming home each time we return. Special thanks to Tyler Herrick, Stephanie, Bill and Amy. Each of you and many more have gone out of your way to make our stays WONDERFUL.
