  • Seelbach Hilton stay

    While the hotel is nice, it is extremely overpriced. The room and bathroom was extremely small, and the rooms are quite expensive. We went to the bar before our concert and had a sandwich and drinks. My husband ordered a Basil Hayden bourbon on the rocks (essentially a shot), and was charged $18. We buy this same bourbon for home and pay $28/bottle. We understand drinks are more expensive at restaurants/bars, but this was over the top. We try to catch a Christmas concert every year and spend the night downtown. Will need to re-think our choice of hotels in the future.

  • Food Poisoned @ Seelbach

    As a Diamond Hilton customer, I'd expect better property. The bar-service is marginal - the bar staff is not focused on customer service. The primary problem was being food-poisoned by the Cobb salad I ate for dinner at the bar

  • Great Hotel!

    Went to Kentucky for the distilleries, but stayed in downtown Louisville. We chose the Seelbach based off of recommendation, and it did not disappoint! The character of the Seelbach is really cool, it was built in the first decade of the 1900's. The location is also great, a few blocks from highway 64, and within walking distance of everything else downtown. 4th Street Live is really neat, and less than a block away. Whiskey row is no more than 10 minute walk away. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel again!

  • Great hotel and even better valet!

    My husband and I had to take an unexpected trip to Louisville to take our daughter to Kosair children's hospital to have some important tests done. We arrived the hotel late Saturday night and were happily greeted by Corey who is a valet for the hotel. We explained to him why we were in town and let him know that we had to be at the hospital at 9:30 the following morning. As stressed and worried as we were he made us feel like family from the minute we arrived. He carried our bags to are room for us personally and went out of his way to make our daughter feel better by spending some time with us talking to her. Sunday morning my husband goes to the front of the hotel to have one of the valets get our van for us, we were over joyed to see our car already out front warning up for us so my daughter didn't have to be cold on the way to the hospital! Words can't express the gratitude me and my family have for how thoughtful that was. Corey truly went above and beyond to ensure us that he genuinely cared about helping us any way that he possibly could. The hotel was remarkably beautiful and along with Corey the entire staff was so helpful and friendly. I can't wait to come back and visit under different circumstances next year!!

  • Best value downtown hotel

    You cant beat the Seelbach for ambiance and history when staying in Downtown Louisville. We've stayed there half a dozen times for both business and leisure and always are welcomed and greeted like old family members. Love the history and stories about the place.
