  • Beautiful lobby!

    by printer125 on 2017-12-09 03:56 am

    December 9, 2017

When we walked in the lobby we were impressed with the how gorgeous and beautifully restored it was.
Just remember that this is an old building restored to a hotel.

When we got to our room which was small with a armoire for your hanging clothes...it was ample for one night.
The first room we got we had a queen bed and when asked could they find us another with a king the nice front desk person reacted very quickly and off we went to our new room. The room was nice EXCEPT the bathroom is tiny! Did I say tiny?! Yes!
Need to back onto the toilet...and possibly take a shower at the same time! The sink has no place for any make up and barely your tooth brushes. Oh well!

We slept good and off we go. Being a restored railway station it was fine but would not choose to stay here in the future. There are a ton of brand new hotels all over Nashville in all price ranges. The total bill after $80 in city taxes was $655.87 for 1 night.

I can assure you that you will love Nashville.

    Enjoy!

  • ALL ABOARD AT THE UNION STATION!

    by Jim T on 2017-12-08 05:30 am

We are huge fans of historical properties and the Union Station fits the definition perfectly. This is not a resort people...no swimming pool or spa but the ambiance of the giant lobby coupled with the amazing period details from the time when it really was a train station are worth it! Just a short walk to all the action on lower Broadway and far enough a way that you're not woken up in the middle of the night by the noise. (You know what I mean!)

  • Best 30th wedding anniversary

    by markwH7898MA on 2017-12-07 011:54 pm

In planning our 30th wedding anniversary we wanted to stay in Nashville, TN because we had been there years before. I also wanted to visit a neighboring city so it was a perfect plan. We chose the Union Station Hotel because it was with the Marriott family but it's nothing like the traditional hotels. Since it's part of the Autograph Collection, there's nothing but character and charm in every corner of the building. The staff is wonderful, the rooms were perfect and the walk around the outside and inside of the building reminded me of many of the buildings and architectures of England. A wonderful two night stay for a long weekend. Definitely would do it again!!!!

  • Beautiful place to stay

by Tjerunner on 2017-12-06 02:08 pm

The Union Station Hotel is a very beautiful place to stay with outstanding customer service. The lobby is incredibly beautiful from top to bottom with artwork and nods to its history as a train station. Our room on the 6th floor had 12 foot ceilings and windows offering great views of the city. The employees at the hotel were all very nice, and incredibly informative about the history of the building. The hotel bar offered a great selection of local beers and drinks. The location was also very convenient, an easy few well lit blocks to the main downtown attractions.

We are glad you are on board with our history, architecture and more. A nod to our past allows us to embrace the present and look forward to the future with excitement. We love the historic Nashville, but we live the new Nashville! I am happy to hear you enjoyed some our local brews and everything else Music City has to offer. Thanks for the shout out to our staff and for taking the time to share your experience on-line.

  • Nashville Jewel

Great stay all around. Elevators slow but all in all great rooms, service and attentativeness. I would stay at this hotel again. Very close to the downtown core with easy access to Bridgestone Arena and the Broadway St bars

    Owner Response
    Dear johnlovatsis,
As the city's original train station and hub of transportation, Union Station Hotel benefits from its central location, within an easy walk of the attractions on Broadway, the Gulch, the West End and more. Thanks for the recommendation and we do hope you stay with us again on your next trip to Music City.
    Sincerely,
    Mike Nelson
