Itinerary

Day 1: Hotel Stay - Nashville, TN
Explore Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay in Nashville before boarding the American Queen the following day.

Day 2: Clarksville, TN | Depart 5:00 p.m.
Enjoy all Cincinnati has to offer before departing on the American Queen in the afternoon

Day 3: Clarksville, TN
Named after hero of the Revolutionary War General George Rogers Clark, Clarksville is a great homage to veterans and historic sights, including headquarters of the 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell. The Customs House Museum and Cultural Center highlights local history as well as science and art.

Day 4: Dover, TN
Explore the vibrant history of Dover with a visit to Fort Donelson, a National Battlefield and National Cemetery, to learn the city's importance during the Civil War.

Day 5: River Cruising
Relax and take in the view of the river or join in a variety of onboard activities while the American Queen glides through beautiful American landscape.

Day 6: Savannah, TN
The largest town on the Tennessee River, the town of Savannah is best known for its association to the Battle of Shiloh, a major Civil War battle.

Day 7: Paducah, KY
Known as the city of art, rhythm, and rivers, Paducah is a lovely city boasting 19th century architecture, specialty shops, and one-of-a-kind eateries. The tour stops include the National Quilt Museum, the River Discovery Center, Paducah Railroad Museum, Paducah Civil War, and William Clark Market House Museum.

Day 8: New Madrid, MO
Relive the battle and siege of New Madrid through the eyes of local soldiers with a visit and presentation at the Hunter-Dawson Historic Site. The tour also include stops to Veteran’s Park, the New Madrid County Courthouse, the cypress-framed antebellum mansion of the Hunter-Dawson State Historical Society, and the oldest house in New Madrid, the Hart-Stepp House Art Gallery.

Day 9: Memphis, TN | Departure 8:00 a.m.
After breakfast, disembark the American Queen and begin the journey home, or continue the adventure and explore the exciting offerings of Music City.
