Historic Hotels of America Participates with Peter Greenberg Worldwide on Hotels with a Past Series

WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 29, 2018, Historic Hotels of America® and Historic Hotels Worldwide® are participating with multiple Emmy Award-winning producer and Travel Detective television host, Peter Greenberg for the Hotels with a Past series. Hotels with a Past is a Peter Greenberg Worldwide featured video that highlights and revels the untold stories of the world’s most iconic hotels. Peter Greenberg and his expert correspondents go inside historic hotels to uncover the stories and bring a whole newsletter understanding and awareness of these grand icons, where the past, present and future converge.

Hotels with a Past is distributed across multiple web and social media platforms. Videos are also broadcast on The Travel Detective show on PBS, posted on PeterGreenberg.com, HuffingtonPost.com, and made available on YouTube. Hotels filmed to date include French Lick Resort (1845) in French Lick, Indiana, The Omni Homestead Resort (1766) in Hot Springs, Virginia, and The Buccaneer (1653) St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, The Plaza (1907) in New York, New York and Hotel Raffles (1887) in Singapore.

A multiple Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and producer, Peter Greenberg is America’s most recognized, honored and respected front-line travel news journalist. Known in the industry as “The Travel Detective,” he is Travel Editor for CBS News, appearing on CBS This Morning, CBS Evening News has come and Sunday Morning, among other broadcast platforms.
