Release Date: 2008-04-01

This Place Matters
Historic Hotels Of America® Offers Preservation Month Packages

Each year, National Preservation Month promotes historic preservation efforts in big cities and small towns across America. This year’s theme, “This Place Matters,” imparts the message that the places in our lives matter – they hold significance and hold memories for us, as individuals, as a community and as a culture. Members of Historic Hotels of America are honoring the places that matter with packages and promotions during the month of May. A complete list of packages can be found on the Historic Hotels of America website at www.historichotels.org. Some packages can be booked through HHA online or by using 800-678-8946 (look for the icon). A portion of the proceeds from reservations booked through HHA are returned to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. All offers are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Unless specified, tax and gratuity are not included. Certain restrictions and blackout dates apply.
