Day 1: Hotel Stay - St. Louis, MO
Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay in St. Louis before boarding the American Queen the following evening.

Day 2: St. Louis, MO | Depart 5:00 p.m.
Spend the day exploring all that St. Louis has to offer before boarding the American Queen later in the afternoon.

Day 3: Cape Girardeau, MO
Cover the Cape Girardeau's history with a tour of the city, including stops to the Riverfront Murals, Red House Interpretive Center, Old St. Vincent's Church, Glenn House, and Red House Interpretive Center. The tour will also explore the River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University, Old Bridge Overlook and Park, the Crisp Museum, and the Cape River Heritage Museum.

Day 4: Paducah, KY
Known as the city of art, rhythm, and rivers, Paducah is a lovely city boasting 19th century architecture, specialty shops, and one-of-a-kind eateries. During the tour guests will stop at various cultural and historic attractions; many dedicated to preserving the heritage of the river, railroad and the role of western Kentucky role in the War Between the States.

Day 5: Henderson, KY
Henderson exhibits the best qualities of an historic southern river town: a flourishing community, thriving downtown, historic turn-of-the-century mansions overlooking the river, and a recently renovated riverfront. Home to famed naturalist John James Audubon, the town celebrates his famous bird paintings with eight bronze bird statues throughout the city.

Day 6: River Cruising
Relax and take in the view of the river or join in a variety of onboard activities while the American Queen glides through beautiful American landscape.

Day 7: Louisville, KY
Since its frontier founding at the time of the American Revolution, Louisville has always been a cultural hub, balancing a sense of history with an ability to re-invent itself as the city of originals. Tour sights include Louisville’s Visitor Center, boxing cultural attraction Muhammad Ali Center, Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory, and the Frazier International Military Museum.

Day 8: Madison, IN
Guests explore the highlights of the beautiful town of Madison, including the 19th century Schroeder Saddletree Factory Museum, the ornate Broadway Fountain, a tour of The Lanier Mansion, and various family-owned and operated businesses. In the evening guests will be able to enjoy the night at Thomas Family Winery for wine tasting and music.

Day 9: Cincinnati, OH | Disembark 8:00 a.m.
The American Queen journey disembarks in Cincinnati, but guests are encouraged to linger around the vibrant town and continue their adventure with a visit to the Rockwood Pottery Factory or a visit to a settler's cabin.
