  • BEST hotel in Raleigh Durham

    Great Boutique hotel with spa and fine dining and ART in-house! Probably one of the most interesting features of this historic property is that they kept the Bank Vault in the basement and that you can sip cocktails while sitting in it; the door of the vault is about three feet thick! The bar has enormous windows and is attractive even on rainy days. The gourmet restaurant is a destination in and of itself.

    We visited for our anniversary and received a nice room upgrade to a suite making for a wonderful stay. The bartender in Counting House was terrific, introducing us to a delicious new cocktail. And the burger was fantastic!

  • A One-Stop Cultural Experience

    Staying at 21c is worth the trip to Durham. The hotel is a spectacular re-cycling of an old bank that houses, in addition to spacious, contemporary rooms, an art gallery, shop, elegant bar with sophisticated cocktails and nibbles, and an adjoining restaurant with unique, exquisitely prepared dishes. Quirky sculpture, including a shark made out of legos, ring the lofty ceilings.

  • Amazing Place!

    Everything about 21c Museum Hotel was AMAZAING! Service was prompt and friendly, the room was magnificent and the food from the restaurant still has my mouth watering. I Can't wait to return again and again!!

  • Lost my coat.

    I stayed at the hotel and inadvertently left my coat in the closet. I called right after I checked out and the staff was slow in getting back to me. I called several times and was told that they would look for my coat and never called me back. After over a week, I called again and was told that the housekeeping staff did not report anything left in the room.

    Such a shame that the staff was so inattentive. There are plenty of other options in the Durham area. I stayed at a 21C in Kentucky and thought that this chain was better than that. Never again.
