Grand Terminus

Since its opening in 1928, Grand Terminus has been a heavily sought after boutique hotel in downtown Bergen. This glorious building was designed by the preeminent architects Fredrik Arnesen and Arthur Darre Kårbø. Today, the Grand Terminus has been carefully renovated to preserve much of the original structure for future generations to appreciate. Grand Terminus is centrally located in Bergen near Grieg Hall and several forms of transportation, such as the train station, bus station, and the Bergen Light Rail. The Norwegian Railways (NSB) is just steps away from Grand Terminus. The airport shuttle to the Bergen Airport leaves every 15 or 30 minutes—depending on the time of day—from the nearby bus terminal. Local, regional, and national bus services depart from the same bus stop, as well.
