  • Family Trip for Volleyball fun.

    1st trip to downtown KC and the Hilton President. Front desk staff was not very friendly but the valets were great. We asked for a late check which is supposed to be a perk of being a Hilton Honors member but we were denied due to the hotel having too many guests. The beds were small but comfy in our room but the bathroom was spacious. For the price I would have expected more for a nice hotel. Breakfast was expensive and not coffee or water in the lobby as well. It is in walking distance to the convention center and the power and light district which has great restaurants and entertainment.

    Hotel was excellent and beautiful. Great experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Location of hotel was extremely convenient for the downtown area. Everything was within walking distance.

    This hotel gives the impression of a 3-star, not a 4-star experience. No coffee or water in the morning on offer anywhere in the lobby, and an antiquated key card entry system that malfunctioned for me on multiple occasions speaks to a hotel resting on it's location for business.

    Thanks for sharing some thoughts about your visit. We are hoping you might have reviewed the wrong hotel. We do offer a Starbucks right off the lobby, and we offer complimentary bottled water and flavor infused water at the desk. Our key system is a state of the art Hilton Digital Key system, offering the ability to enter your room wit your phone.
    I will try to reach out via traditional methods as well to see if we can clear this up.

  • Place to Stay in KC

    First time ever in KC and the Hilton President. Friendly staff, great service, convenient to everything . Complementary internet spotty. Good breakfast. Right around the corner from free trolley, entertainment district and Sprint Center. Will definitely return to KC and stay at the President!

  • Great location for an iconic hotel

    You can't beast the location and beauty of this historic downtown hotel. It has a very impressive lobby and restaurant. The rooms are fairly clean and well appointed. I was disappointed at the lack of service as Diamond member. Also the gym had to towels, no water and no working phone.

    A while back as part of our environmental impact programs we removed bottled water from the fitness center and added a fill station. Looks like we are not doing a great job of sharing this information. The lack of towels is inexcusable.
