    Great room with in walking distance of the ball park and the arch. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking was a breeze. Will be back next year to catch another game and explore more of the Lou!

    Within walking distance of the arch, a fine deli, and an Irish pub, this hotel should work for most travelers with business or pleasure interests in downtown St. Louis near the river and the ball park. The reservation staff were helpful via email and on arrival. Breakfast was good, especially the biscuits and sausage gravy. The bellman was quick to get cabs and help with luggage. I had a problem with my cell phone getting on the hotel internet connection, and Holle spent much time getting my phone to do its duty.

    This hotel is in a great location in downtown Saint Louis. It's a short walk to the Arch and the St Louis Cardinals baseball amusement area. Everyone there was very polite and the rooms were nice. I would stay at this location again if I was visiting.

    We had a king sized bed and bathroom with a jacuzzi. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large and beautiful. The towels were very nice and soft. The room was very clean. The only thing we didn't like was the view of the parking garage outside our window. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

    Upon arrival I was met with Brendan who was unfriendly, combative & totally unprofessional. He argued with me about my diamond status, told me valet wasn't available, told me upgrades weren't done at this hotel & was almost combative when I asked for clarification about where we could park. By the time I was finished checking in I was so flustered I started crying. There was no need for him to act the way he did. When my daughter saw me after parking the car she instantly knew something was wrong. When I told her the story she insisted we ask to speak with the manager on duty, so we did. The MOD was a very sweet, young African American woman who made every possible excuse imaginable for Brendan, but never apologized to us. She told us he was new with less than 2 weeks on the job, she told us when she corrected him once before he skulked around in the back because he didn't deal with confrontation well. Seriously?!?! Who are we kidding? When did the employees feelings matter more than the customers, especially when their behavior wasn't professional or acceptable. She even told us that she could tell there were problems just from listening to our conversation. Well if you heard it why didn't you intervene? Maybe she was worried about his fragile ego! I think the kisser was the personalized text message Brendan sent 5 minutes after getting into our room wanting to in now if the room was acceptable. Are you kidding me? Busy leave me alone. By far the best staff members were the cute little bartender lady & the young man who worked the omelet station in the morning. They should clone those two. Besides this experience overall we were happy with the room, the room was large & well furnished. We'd come back again (as long as we don't have to deal with the front desk folks again)
