Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection

13 rue Nungesser et Coli, Paris, France, 75016 Original Property Opened in Historic Hotels Worldwide member since

Nestled in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection opened as an Art Deco swimming pool and sports complex in 1929. During its heyday, it was a popular attraction for the socialites of Paris. When the bathhouse closed in 1989, it was taken over by street artists who created their own open-air artist’s studio, using every surface of the property as a canvas. Today, this boutique hotel offers a quirky personality and a remarkable experience to all who visit. The soul of the hotel expresses itself through the creative, Art Deco-inspired décor. The historic Art Deco Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection is a unique city resort with a relaxing atmosphere. Guests will be able to walk to many popular tourist destinations including the Roland Garros, Jean-Bouin, and Parc des Princes stadiums, as well as the sprawling Bois de Boulogne park.

Discover

  • Discover the two glorious pools at the Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection. Both of these historic facilities were originally active when the structure debuted as a famous Parisian bathhouse called the Piscine Molitor Grands Etablissements Balnéaires d’Auteuil.
  • Gaze upon the spectacular collection of urban artwork that adorns the walls of the hotel. The work of some 40 artists now call the Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection home.
  • Admire the wonderful Art Deco design of Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris MGallery Collection. Its restored architecture captivates the luxurious historic charm of the building when it first opened in the late 1920s.

Explore

  • Explore the Palais de Challiot nearby. Located across from the Eiffel Tower along the Seine, the Palais de Challiot is a beautiful symbol of Neoclassical architecture. It houses three major museums too: the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine, the Musée national de la Marine, and the Musée de l’Homme.
  • Travel to the world-famous Eiffel Tower just moments away. No trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to this marvelous French icon. Built by Gustave Eiffel during the late 1880s, the edifice still stands today as the tallest structure in all of Paris.
  • Visit the glorious Arc de Triomphe. Inspired by the Arch of Titus in Rome, the structure honors the French soldiers who died fighting in the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. The Arc de Triomphe is also a great starting point to explore the rest of Paris, as it sits within a major traffic circle on the Champs-Élysées.
