  • Very nice hotel

by Nandstrick on 2019-06-17 12:10 am

My wife and I spent a night at this hotel for a night to celebrate our anniversary and we were very impressed. The hotel was very well kept and the staff members were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

  • STRIKE 3 You're out.

Well...let's see...it's close to the ball park so you can really feel that you have struck out with a stay at Lancaster Arts Hotel. This is the perfect hotel for those with little or no expectations. Help getting you r bags from the car...NO. help getting your bags toi the room NO. Having the correct reservations....NO. Mattresses made this century....NO. Giant swimming pool hot tub using half the room...well...yes. It does have that. A true flash back to the 80'S. How about a love seat in the entry way with no view of TV....well....it has that too. You get the message right? My last post commented on the rude behavior of staff. They have improved that.....now they simply say "our management has rules and we cannot accept nay changes to those rules." So you don't get the same feeling that they are being personally rude to you. It's more like computer answering machine rude. Frustrating but refreshingly impersonal and uncaring. Want them to text you when your room is ready....NO. Want an extra blanket.....NO. Want more than one person at the desk to help with rush hour check in or check out....NO. SO, lower your expectations and come to Lancaster Arts Hotel. The only thing to expect is to be overcharged.

  • Getaway weekend

by SisPa on 2019-05-30 05:28 am

This was a gift from our children so I don't know why they chose it. I can see why now. It is a charming hotel. We loved our King room. Very spacious and well decorated. Every night they would come and put a long stem rose with chocolates on my pillow. Bottled water on your nightstand, we had a jacuzzi tub, a very comfortable bed, and a walk in shower. Towels were nice and soft. And plenty of toiletries. They had a magnifying mirror that every hotel should have. The breakfast they offered was plentiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a unique hotel then I would recommend the Lancaster Arts Hotel.

  • Nice enough hotel, but air conditioning ridiculously noisy.

    by pdm535 on 2019-05-28 07:05 am

Hotel is OK. Modern style and boutiquey. However the noise of the air conditioning from the hallways out side the room were a constant noisy mechanical hum, made worse by clicking on and off at night, so we barely slept. I walked around other parts of the hotel and the noise was everywhere. Perhaps Americans are used to a constant low level hum, as I don't see other complaints about this. If you need quiet to sleep, find somewhere else.

  • Charming Boutique Hotel

by FamilyDawn on 2019-05-27 07:53 am

This is a charming boutique hotel. Our room was a King with a beautiful brick wall. Nice bathroom and small wine fridge, coffee maker, robes, lots of towels and fluffy white bedding. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is continental bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, fruits, oatmeal, pancake maker, egg and ham wraps. Parking

Location is awesome in old downtown Lancaster. Saturdays you can walk to the market.
