    The meal at this hotel and the bartenders Sam and Joey's service were outstanding! Pleasant and great customer service! I will definitely go back again to this Baltimore city hotel! Hire more employees like those two!

  • Joey!

    My friends and I were not having the best time and Joey at the tavern made our day. He called us friend, and he truly acted like one. He was so kind, respectful, and humorous. I can honestly say he made my day!

  • Nicely Priced and Located for Convention Center Travel

    I recommend this hotel for visitors to Baltimore who like to walk and take public transportation. Driving is okay too, but the location is in a non-sketchy part of downtownish Baltimore, a 10 minute and well-trafficked walk to the convention center, and also within walking distance to Lexington Market (I took Howard St., which is frighteningly and gloriously derelict, or was at this time), an arena of some kind, and the National Aquarium. The light rail is about one block away. From Penn Station one bus down St. Paul will bet you within 3-4 blocks. Maybe 2.
    The Lord Baltimore has a bakery with full meal service, a tavern, and an alleged Skybar which was not open on my visit. My room was quite comfortable, clean, great temperature control, coffee maker, fridge, and a hallway microwave in the vending area. There is a fitness center on the lower level, two treadmills, free weights, maybe an elliptical--I didn't get to use it. The tavern serves a great beet salad entree. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Great Service!

    This was our first time at Lord Baltimore. Wow! What a fantastic experience! We went to the LB Tavern, and had the best bartender/waiter, Joey. He was very engaging and personable. WHEN we come back, we will ask for him. He also made us his very own Basil Vodka Lemonade which blew us away. Great food, great service, great experience. 5 stars ?

  • First Impression

    First impressions mean a lot to most and this one was all I can say was horrible. As my wife and I walked up the one valet lady was cussing saying "I need my fuc*ing break" the other gentleman was blowing his nose on the sidewalk and the using his hand to wipe it away. He then proceeded into the same door my wife and I were to enter. Inside is cute and the front desk staff was very pleasant. Our room was ok but nothing exciting except the broken lampshades and the fact the heat would never turn off at a preset temperature. We went out for the day as visitors tend to do and got back after 6. Low and behold there was a note on the floor saying if you want house keep call the front desk before 5pm. Well we were not informed of this when we checked in so we missed that boat. Our room had only 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and no washcloths. We did receive 3 coffee pods but only received 1 cup to share I guess. The bar in the lobby was nice except for the limited drink menu. I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon
