  • Weekend birthday

    We came here looking for a place to get outside for my husbands birthday. We booked a double bed room for us and 2 boys. The hotel is beautiful and set in a quiet rolling hills surroundings. The room was adequate with nice toiletries. We hit the trails across from hotel, checking out the springs and lake. The trails are easy to find and marked. Due to covid activities dining was limited but we were able to get takeout from one of restaurants. Overall we had a really nice quiet weekend and would recommend this hotel

  • Current Opening Status of Bedford Springs Resort

    We love the Omni Bedford Springs Resort and we are anxious to return soon. However, we called about the status of things with their reopening on May 15, and things sound problematic.

    *No valet parking. Most parking is way up on the hill far from the hotel entrance.
    *Indoor Pool is closed.
    *Spa is closed.
    *Outdoor pool and golf course are open.
    *Face masks required throughout the entire hotel.
    *Only the Tavern bar is open and it is take-out only. You must eat in your room.

    I know that Bedford County has few Corona Virus cases, but frankly, I'm surprised they are re-opening on this basis. We'll wait to make our trip back once things open up more.

  • Fantastic Golf and Spa

    The new clubhouse, golf shop and bar/grill is great. Thank you Omni for building it!
    We enjoy the rooms with the porch and rocking chairs. We always try to visit the town of Bedford and the quaint shops.

  • Excellent Retreat Option

    A quiet and full service resort with plenty of things to do. Golf, hiking, spa, indoor pool and walking into town where there are nice shops. Four excellent restaurant options at the resort and two very nice bar areas. Relaxing. Very friendly staff. Would return.

  • Murder Mystery Weekend

    Just returned from a great weekend which included a two day murder mystery. As usual, the hotel was spotlessly clean from top to bottom. The indoor pool was open and the shops were very nice. We started in the bar after being allowed an early check in and had a great lunch. After lunch we cruised around the hotel (two of our group members went to their fabulous spa) until the mystery started at 7pm. It was an absolute blast until Sunday afternoon when the mystery was solved and we had to leave. I'll be returning to Bedford for a spa break in June. As aside, I left a tote behind and the hotel security called me and mailed it! I love it at Bedford.
