    Great central location walking distance to Central Park, Empire State and Chrysler building. Subway station right at back of hotel , which handy when exploring downtown. Excellent beds and helpful staff - would recommend. Also great bar / restaurant.

    Very good hotel located in Midtown NYC. Traveled with family for overnight in NYC. Rooms were spotless. Hotel staff was very pleasant, from front desk check in to doorman on departure. Highly recommended.

    Very helpful staff. From the doorman, concierge, front desk to housekeeping- all very kind and helpful. Great location to see sites either walking or short ride by Uber. I walked to Whole Foods and Uber back to have healthy alternatives during stay

  • Great boutique hotel in prime location

    Lovely hotel with a very convenient location near Fifth Ave, Central Park, good restaurants, museums, Rockefeller Center, St Patrick's, etc. Rooms are a good size and staff are pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay.

  • 3.5 stars for average hotel with hiccups

    Good:
    - location
    - front desk, porters/bellmen, guest services were helpful & friendly
    - multiple electrical outlets by the desk and bed
    - comfortable bed - not too soft, not too firm
    - good free wifi for email and internet
    - good water pressure

    Average:
    - average sized NYC room (it gets a bit tight with the room service cart)
    - decor was very hilton-ish (i.e. boring and beige)
    - room service arrived on time; order though was not fully correct; food was fine
    - room seemed relatively clean, but glasses in the bathroom were not clean.

    Bad:
    - The night before, I called to pre-order my breakfast (there was no breakfast door hanger in the room). The woman who answered seemed highly annoyed by my call and confused about the breakfast. Her confusion and lack of knowledge lead to the following morning's issue. I called room service in the AM b/c an order selection was incorrect. The woman who answered (Jean - sp?) immediately and defensively snapped at me. While the order was rectified and the server who delivered the food was friendly, the room service phone rep had a poor attitude.

    Random:
    - bar soap, no body wash
    - no coffee maker in the room
    - no fridge/no mini bar

    Advice:
    - should have more than 2 regular pillows on the king bed
    - put at least 3 bath towels in the bathroom
    - retrain your room service phone staff

    Would I stay here again? Sure. I think the good outweighs the bad, esp as a business traveler
    Is it my top choice? No
