    Clean rooms.
    Centrally located hotel: close to Macy's and 5th avenue.
    A lit of shops around, 5 minutes to Times Square.
    Spacious and air conditioned rooms.
    Reception service is quick and friendly.

  • Great hotel just steps away from Madison Square Garden

    Wonderful clean hotel . Amazing price for being walking distance to all the sites ! This hotel is in Korea town , so lots of amazing choices for Korean BBQ right outside your door . The room was large and very clean . We were on the 17th floor so it was very quiet as well . We loved that this hotel is the oldest in NYC . The history of this hotel is definitely worth looking up !!!
    The hotel security officers , Tommy and Michael were over and above for us . We will definitely return to this hotel on our next NYC trip

    The hotel room we checked into has just been modified, renovated not too long ago I guess. It is modern, with water drainage and shower head in full power. The bed is comfy and the staff is friendly and helpful. Except one incident in which I called after 11pm to housekeeping in the room and I called front desk instead. When the lady at front desk answered the phone and I told her no one answered at housekeeping, she just seemed so annoyed and rudely said to me, "no, you call me.". How a guest is suppose to know without instruction. Other than that, it is in great location, 2 mins away from metro station and 15 mins away from times square and Penn station.

  • Took Unauthorized Money Out of Account

    Watch out! I booked a room through and was not supposed to be charged until the day of my stay a month from now. Upon checking my online bank statement, the hotel already took out the amount of over $1200.00. The guy in accounting told me it was a mistake, but that it would take 3-5 business days for it to go back in my account. What if I had big bills that were due and were getting deducted???? I canceled my reservation, and as an apology the guy said they would reinstate my reservation with a guarantee that nothing would come out of my account until my arrival. What?! That's no compensation for the inconvenience they caused me! I'd still be paying the full price of the room! Good business practices are that if you make a mistake, you make it right with the customer, which they DID NOT DO. They could've at least offered to comp a night or upgrade our room to a suite, or even breakfast throughout our stay. An "I'm sorry" is not very soothing when your account is $1200 short for five days. And to top it off, now I'm stuck scurrying to find a room elsewhere and most everything is booked because of the holidays. This was my son's Christmas and college graduation present. Very irritated.

    Street noise, construction on site noise, check in loud and long. Booked through Expedia; requested breakfast; Radisson Manager said, there is NO Breakfast when you book through Expedia, even though I did click breakfast included. OK - Well, since we are staying 2 nights and the cost was $680- NOT Including taxes and fees, maybe manager would comp 1-day worth of breakfast vouchers for 2 elders and a military Vet. He didn't even offer. I do NOT expect handouts, but seriously... For the cost of the room $680- NOT Including taxes and fees and we were Convinced it came with breakfast... BUT, not even an offer. Not trying to scam a free meal, but I am SURE the manager has a whole drawer full of stupid breakfast voucher and could have coughed up 3 for two senior citizens and one military veteran. BOO RADISSON!!! For SHAME - You could have been more accommodating!!
