  • Desert getaway in the city

Royal Palms is fantastic. It feels like a great boutique hotel with the efficiency of being a part of the Hyatt chain. Great ambience, really nice rooms, nice pool (but shared with kids if you are looking for a quiet, adult retreat this is a downside), great service.

Amazing!! Beautiful grounds, attentive staff, excellent food & service. Most relaxing 5 days I've had in a long time. The staff was very helpful. Oh the Spa...hands down the best facial I've ever had. I will be back!!

  • A really nice stay!

We were in a basic"ish" room which was still lovely. Main floor and a little dark but the beds and pillows were good and there was a great soaker tub which i could sit in and watch tv or see outside as our double patio doors swung open to our own little patio and just beyond a beautiful courtyard with Spanish tile, geraniums in clay pots, the sounds of running water. And at night 3 little fires in this area. I think the feature i liked best was all the little nooks and crannies around the property. Little walled gardens, tile features everywhere, little lookouts, water gurgling, and a big budget garden. There's the beautiful pool with excellent service. There's a play area with games and lawn toys. There is the formal water garden in the lawn. And my favorite little tiled courtyard just outside the check-in area and t cooks. The food both at t cooks, the pool cabana and roomservice was excellent. Staff were great. Anytime we asked the answer was yes. And we got to have our dog with us with staff note even blinking an eye. He was also very welcome. We travel a lot and stay in many luxury hotels in Europe. There is often one or two things that are overlooked at a hotel but i can say that the Royal Palms did everything perfectly. Thank you so much for a really nice stay.

  • Exceptional suites

If you are looking for a location to indulge the wonderful atmosphere in Phoenix I recommend this location. I was here for a business conference and was fortunate to stay in their Arcadia suite. The accommodations were like staying in a condo with multiple rooms, multiple outdoor patios and a beautiful claw foot tub in which to indulge in while listening to the outdoor water feature of one of the patios! The staff is extremely friendly and the pool looked nice (the temperature was a little too cool to experience this aspect of the resort during my stay). I did not eat at the onsite restaurant, but the catering they supplied our conference was superb, so I would expect that their onsite restaurant would be as well. I plan to attend again with my family, and book one of their suites for sure.

  • One Word.... Awesome!!!!

This place is small but immaculate!! From the entrance to the rooms this hotel/resort has an old, rustic, desert town feel with an upscale inner filling. At check in they offer champagne and a bell guy walks you and your luggage to your room while giving you a tour of the property. The room was upgraded and had a deep tub and balcony. The margarita's at the pool bar was delicious but only available after 10 a.m. Close to Old Town Scottsdale. Highly recommended!!
