Looking forward to returning in the summer and relaxing, wasting away the day rocking on the front porch and enjoying the hospitality of the awesome staff!

  • BEAUTIFUL AND ACCOMODATING!

    by Kristen C on 2019-03-04 07:40 am

We were so pleased with our stay at the Historic Sheridan Inn. We were greeted by a friendly attendant every time we entered the hotel, for every breakfast, and anytime we needed anything. We met the owner on our last morning of our stay and LOVED hearing his stories of buying the hotel and his love for the community of Sheridan. The hotel is truly a labor of love for him.

I have four kids UNDER the age of 6 and we were treated like FAMILY. Many hotels, restaurants, and other places find kids to be a nuisance, but The Historic Sheridan Inn made our family feel loved, cared for, and supported. There was no TV or pool (like many hotels we have stayed in), but my young kids came away saying, "That is my FAVORITE HOTEL EVER". Pretty special. We loved their Friday night dance as well! Everything was done to perfection. We cannot WAIT to come back! Check out this historic treasure!

I am so pleased to hear your kiddos loved their stay! They were darling! I know we all enjoyed having them here for the weekend. There is something magical about this property that engages guests of all ages and takes you back to an era long forgotten. Whether you spend a few hours, or a few days here, you leave with a sense of awe that just can not be reproduced with new construction. The owners have made every effort to keep that spirit alive in every step of the renovations. But it would be all for nothing, if it wasn't for our guests such as yourselves. Our entire crew strive to ensure that every guest, regardless of age, feels like a VIP guest. I am honored that you all chose to be our guests and I truly look forward to your next visit to Sheridan.

Thank you again for your kind words and for choosing to be our guest.

  • A Must Stay!

    by Robin S on 2019-02-26 05:23 pm

We were there on a cold winter weekend, the hospitality was over 100%, and only a few guests there we were treated like friends............This is a Historic hotel as the name says, every room had a different story to tell, there was a fireplace in the lobby, and the 3rd floor had couches, coffee tables extra lamps a perfect place for the kids or extended family to all hang out together in the extra wide hallway... everything redone to "The Wild West Days" as I call them....we would recommend this hotel to anyone who is in the area!

Thank you for choosing to be our guest! You may arrive as a guest, but everyone leaves as a member of the Sheridan Inn family. I am so pleased you made yourself at home and enjoyed the fire place and the comfy third floor commons areas. I look forward to having you and your family back again on your next adventure to Sheridan.

  • Gorgeous, Amazing History, and Comfortable ... a Home Run!

by roadtripperP on 2019-01-25 12:40 am

What dedication to a beautiful labour of love renovating this historic landmark. Rooms absolutely gorgeous and cozy in their furnishings and detail, and provided a super comfortable quiet sleep. Staff were enthusiastic, warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to offer treats and local information and tips for visitors. I loved my overnight stay during an epic winter road trip, and the price was so reasonable! I can only imagine how great the inn feels in summer with more activity in town. Love to return. Thank you!

  • History at its best. if you are an Old West fan, this is a must.

    by Line B on 2019-01-17 08:57 am

Although we didn't stay in the hotel rooms, we had a great time in the beautiful lounge/bar/resto. it still has the original bar that Buffalo Bill used and the artifacts are really well put on display. It was a great time with family, old and young, to be in this great place. Sheridan is a beautiful place in the summer, and I'm sure winter is also a great place to visit. there's a lot to see and do just in the vicinity. Will be back for sure, and stay at this renovated hotel. well done.

Thank you for your review! We always welcome our guests comments and we enjoy hearing each persons individual experiences. We strive to offer a location for all generations to enjoy and immerse themselves with the romance of the West. As you have shown, you do not have to be a hotel guest to have a memorable experience at the Inn. Although, with the renovations, the guest rooms are probably the most comfortable rooms you will find for miles and miles! Any trip to Sheridan would not be complete without a visit at the Historic Sheridan Inn. Summer is a widely known as Sheridan's peak tourist season, however, winter offers many great events and outdoor recreation opportunities that are unique to this quaint western town. Hope to see you again soon!
