    I have stayed at the Bellevue in the past and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking with them again when a medical conference was going to be held there. Due to the current global pandemic, the conference was canceled. I tried to cancel my reservation. I spent several hours on the phone. I even spoke to corporate, who could not believe that the hotel would not refund me my money or at least give me a credit to future dates when the conference would be held. I emailed Kristy Cotten at the urging of the corporate office and never got a response. I then emailed the director of the conference. They then said they would give credit for 1 night, but they have no record of me trying to contact them (even though I called and emailed). It's unbelievable how the Bellevue acted during a national crisis and towards a healthcare worker in the front lines of this pandemic. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here.

    Stayed at the Bellevue for a wedding. Room was very clean and comfortable. Everyone working at the hotel was professional and friendly. Stayed during the Corona Virus issue and was not concerned at all. Wish I had more time at this hotel but the city started shutting things down on Saturday.

  • Do not stay here

    I'm 6 months pregnant and was accompanied by my 5 year old daughter, which I stated clearly on the reservation. They checked us into a room that smelled like someone had smoked 2 packs of cigarettes the night before. We switched rooms. The second room, which we came back to the hotel to find at 10pm still had confetti and a balloon filled with confetti from whoever stayed the night before scattered around. Whoever "cleaned" didn't even bother to do the bare minimum. It was gross. Then at check out being 6 months pregnant I realized I had to pee before we hit the road.. from the lobby the closest bathroom was on the 19th floor because the downstairs bathroom closes at certain times throughout the day?!?! Did I mention I'm pregnant with a 5 year old. So inconvenient. For $250 a night I expect so much more. Spend your money ANYwhere else!

  • Old World Class and Charm on the Avenue of the Arts

    The Bellevue is a solid, quiet, restful hotel in a great location. It offers guests full access to the Philadelphia Sporting Club, one of the country's best health clubs. Hotel personnel are attentive, professional and welcoming.

  • Great Customer Service!

    We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday night. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to circumstances beyond the control of the hotel. When we changed rooms, I left my watch in the original room and didn't notice until I was back home in Jersey the following day. Cathy Ford (Front Desk Manager) went above and beyond, along with the housekeeping staff to fine my watch. They shipped my watch to me the following day. Kudos to this hotel for employing staff that takes pride in their respective jobs and makes guests' stays that much more pleasant. This was the fourth time staying at this property and we've had nothing but great experiences.
