  • Amazing Night!

    I came here last week and had an amazing experience with my girlfriend for our 10 year anniversary. We were greeting with a glass of champagne and were happily surprised when we received a free upgrade. The tasting menu was such a great experience. Only matched by the service we had at the spa! Will definitely be back.

  • Dinner at Sante delicious!

    Came to celebrate my sister's birthday. What a great venue. Service was impeccable and the food beautifully presented.
    Large wine selection including many demi (half) bottles as well as selections by the glass. Knowledgable sommlier to assist you.

  • Very disappointing and underwhelming

    This place is very dated and needs a major facelift. For the cost that you pay to stay here it's not up to par. Horrible Wifi. Our room has dirty furniture, a half a glass of wine was left in the fridge from previous occupant. The carpet is dirty, rippled, and frayed. The grout is dirty in the bathroom and the tile is chipped. Also no water pressure. I k is that is probably a CA thing, but I've stayed in tons of hotels in CA with better water pressure. I've stayed in Hampton Inn's nicer than the Fairmont.

  • Beautiful Old California style Hotel (but modern)

    Gorgeous hotel, I had a large suite that was very nice, bed very comfy, room pretty and clean. Staff very nice, we were here for my son's wedding and although everything was lovely and reminded me of the movie The Grand Hotel, it was very very pricey. The taxes and fees were exorbitant. Besides the cost of the room there was a resort fee (but almost all hotels have that now) but there was a "occupancy tax" and several other taxes that added a couple hundred dollars more to our cost which my total cost for 3 nights was $3,200.00. That is a tad high I think. And there were no discounts for the family of the wedding which most other resort hotels do give.

  • Brilliant hotel and service!

    I stayed for 2 nights in August and would have loved to have stayed longer. Lovely large clean room, incredibly comfortable bed, and the resort is in a perfect location for exploring the area. The spa was fantastic (although guests have to pay $39 each for a day's use), especially the pool with underwater music - very relaxing indeed!

    But the true quality of the hotel shines through the amazing service received. Sally, the guide on the complimentary morning hikes (which, for information, every guest should sign up to each day!) was great. We went on two brilliant hikes that were unique and fascinating, and Sally knows all there is to know about the area! I can't recommend the hikes, and Sally, enough.

    Also special mention to Eleanor, who went above and beyond to search for my lost car key. It was greatly appreciated!
