We had a wonderful stay at the Hermitage hotel. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. My husband & I stayed for our anniversary & Marty went above & beyond for us. Our stay there was wonderful & very memorable. The restaurant & bar were excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

  • Luxury

Luxurious hotel located in the heart of Nashville. The restaurants and bars on broadway are a few blocks away. The Ryman Theater and Country Music Hall of Fame are walkable also. The hotel is the epitome of southern hospitality. Warm welcomes and friendly staff greet you. The rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are over the top in its size. Tv's are built into the mirror! The beds are comfortable and they give you choices on the type of pillow you can sleep on. We didn't have dinner there but we had a nice breakfast there. If you get the chance the men's room located by the oak room is a "thing".

    Dear JnVPULV,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! The accolades and observations of our guests are truly invaluable to us and we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed stay and our Southern hospitality. The pillow menus are one of our favorite features, too, and seeing the original Art Deco mens' room definitely is a tradition when coming to the Hermitage!

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

  • One night with a group

    by DavidB19922014 on 2019-10-09 01:48 pm

Hotel is downtown, so need separate parking. Grand, eloquent and historical. Room size was average, but bathroom was large. Lobby is outstanding. Personnel are great!
Breakfast was fabulous. Would stay again, but it is expensive.

Our grand lobby is certainly rich in history and elegance; we love the painted glass ceiling and the Beaux Arts architectural symmetry.

  • Lovely, historical, elegant hotel with staff and amenities to match!!

    by 498candaces on 2019-10-08 010:12 pm

From the moment we pulled up and unloaded our overcrowded car and our precious dog we were surrounded by the most efficient ,cheerful and helpful valets and doormen. That was just the beginning, from that point on our wonderful 5 day holiday was always begun with the same cheeriness and a genuine desire by all the staff regardless of position, to assist with any question that we had regarding entertainment, restaurants, transportation, places of interest etc.our room was beautifully appointed as was the bathroom . The thoughtful touches such as monogrammed stationery, champagne, letter of welcome and a posey did not go unnoticed. Delivery each morn of USAtoday was also appreciated as was the nespresso. The room mini-bar was very nicely stocked as well. The room staff were never seen by us and large supply carts were not out in the halls day/night. We had the pleasure of having Brandon be our server for Sunday evening dinner...his knowledge of the meals was amazing, and his very enthusiastic knowledge of the history of The Hermitage to include dates, architecture, occupancy, notable guests, prohibition was definitely impressive as was his tour of the hotel ( the time was now well after 2200 hrs ) Other notably terrific employees were Thomas and Liz (concierge)who kept in touch with us even prior to our arrival to confirm our wishes and tickets etc. Each morning and throughout the day, upon leaving the hotel, with my husband our dog was greeted with warmth and cuddles by Alex, Austin, and 3 other wonderful, charming and helpful valets, doormen and bellmen... I can't say enough good things about the whole experience at THe Hermitage..I can't imagine how anyone could not rate this hotel as excellent.

  • Loved the large room sizes!

by twintp on 2019-10-08 04:08 pm

The smallest rooms are just under 500 sq feet so if you like space, this is the place to stay. Some of the rooms, however, have only one small window so can be a bit dark. We stayed in a room with a decent sized window in the bedroom area and a large window in the bathroom over the tub. Besides the tub, there is a large walk-in shower with great water pressure and a separate toilet room. Large dual sink vanity with good counter space, lit magnifying mirror and TV in the wall mirror. Molton Brown products and large, thick, fluffy towels. Bed was very comfortable with nice linens and several pillows to choose from. Nice, cozy robes and slippers as well. Coffee pods in room as well as mini bar and refrigerator. Free bottled water. Small in room safe. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful lobby as well as the restaurant and bar areas. All in all, a lovely hotel!
