    My husband and I really enjoyed our first Nashville visit with The Hermitage. The entire staff was very professional, friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had breakfast every morning downstairs selecting a different menu item and we watched basketball from the Oak Bar. Everything was exceptional and exactly to our liking. Thank you for your warm Nashville hospitality!

  • My first 1 star review - they are terrible but they do not mind charging $450+ breakfast+parking+tips.

    After a major surgery I was traveling from St. Louis to Atlanta. Took this hotel for a night, paid around 450$. It was August, inside the hotel it was freezing cold and I was told that they had a new AC and that was the reason. Bedroom doors were so thin that I could hear every step made in the lobby. I had a room with no view - simply a building wall in front of the window. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The concierge was helpful and helped me find a nice restaurant nearby. Re breakfast, I had dietary restrictions but did not have to worry because they did not have anything, no croissants , no fresh bred, no nothing, no hard boiled eggs. When I asked them to boil eggs for me it took them more than 20 minutes to come back to tell me that they needed more time. I left the restaurant. In the end I forgot things in the bathroom, value more than $400. It took them more than 10 days to call me back (after I left at least 3 message) and to tell me that they actually did not find anything. This place is terrible the only nice thing they have is the reception lobby and that should not cost $450 a night.

  • Excellent place to stay

    Hotel lobby is in the style of the Gilded Age. Standard room would qualify as a suite in other hotels. Most unique room feature is TV embedded in bathroom mirror.
    Staff is exceptional. Very comfortable to deal with..Food is amazing. Men's bathroom in the Oak Bar is something to be seen.
    If you are going to Nashville, stop in and see the lobby if nothing else. It will be worth the trip.

  • Wonderful experience!

    The Hermitage really thinks of everything. From the warm welcome at the front door, to attentive staff throughout the premises, I truly felt valued as a customer at this hotel. And the room amenities- they left no stone unturned. 3 different types of pillows to choose from (I used the Buckwheat), the most comfortable bed I've ever been in, the amazing view of the Capitol, the digitally enhanced mirror in the bathroom, thoughtful turndown service. I can go on and on. If you love prohibition style cocktails, head to the Oak Bar and you will not be disappointed. The lobby smelled so wonderful too - their signature scent, white tea and fig, is available to purchase as a candle in their gift shop. The candle was pricey but because I loved the hotel and my experience there, I splurged and bought it just so I could bring a piece of the Hermitage back with me.

  • Everything I expected and more

    If you want to step back into time and feel pampered, this is the place! The staff is amazing. The architecture is breathtaking. The rooms are opulent and the food is great. This hotel is a must-stay in Nashville
