The Inn at Death Valley

Overview
An elegant hideaway since 1927, The Inn at Death Valley is a historic AAA-rated four-diamond resort that still pampers every guest. It is the perfect place for guests to reclaim their senses as they relax near the spring-fed pool, stroll through palm gardens to the melody of the natural springs, watch a glorious sunset from one of the quaint stone patios, or enjoy a cool drink from Stargazers Deck. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 66-room Inn is now open year round following a multi-million dollar renovation.
The Inn at Death Valley is now better than ever following its revitalization. Offering guests unprecedented service and luxury at a true American oasis in the middle of Death Valley National Park, the extensive changes have elevated the experience to new heights. Guests now roll up the landscaped drive and enjoy expansive views of Death Valley National Park, the towering date palms, and bubbling fountain that springs forth from the natural oasis. What was once only hardscape has been transformed into a lush and inviting experience.
The guestrooms, the lounge, lobby, and bar area have all received extensive updates. In addition to the bar and lounge area, the Inn’s Library has been recreated as it was when the Inn first opened. It is the ideal place to get lost in a favorite novel while taking in astounding views or if preferred to be outside, enjoy the restored shaded terraces. The historic, tiled pool is a welcome throwback. Soak in the spring-fed waters, sample the treatments offered in the new and nurturing spa, and seek midday shade under the cabanas with a special cocktail or snack served from the poolside cafe. If so inclined, step into the state-of-the-art fitness center and keep fitness goals on track, or take a quick ride down to the Furnace Creek Golf Course at Death Valley and play the world’s lowest elevation golf course.
The Inn at Death Valley is located within The Oasis at Death Valley, which encompasses both the historic Inn and the more family-friendly Ranch at Death Valley located 1.2 miles down the road. Both properties sit in Death Valley National Park.
The Inn at Death Valley, a member of Historic Hotels of America since 2012, dates back to 1927.
The flow-through swimming pool at the Inn is filled by natural springs, creating an outstanding environment for swimming that is consistently 87 degrees Fahrenheit.
