  • Too small, over-priced & when we shared our disappointment, There was nothing offered to rectify the situation!

    by Makava H on 2019-08-12 02:33 pm

Room was too small. No microwave or fridge in the room. Shower was so small I couldn't stretch my arms out or bend over and I'm only 140 pounds. Also, the way the shower head is positioned, I had to hold my head up the entire shower so that the water wouldn't hit me in the face. We were placed on the 3rd floor and if I would have known there was no elevator I would have asked for another room, because I have asthma.

  • Historical beauty in safe area

by weorganizeu on 2019-07-29 10:23 am

Chose to stay here for a concert at the Little Ceasars Arena for 1 night. We got the room in the attic of the Roburn house. Lots and lots of narrow stairs to haul luggage up. But lovely (and cool on a hot day) inside. Bed was very comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. Really appreciated the shuttle that took us to and from the concert (saved $45 parking at arena). Breakfast was a beautiful spread, buffet style, lots of variety including fresh berries and tropical fruit. Don't miss it! There was nowhere to hang garments but we were only there one night so it wasn't an issue. Safe area but no restaurants or coffee shops nearby to walk to. The front and back (see picture) of the buildings have nice covered porches to sip a beverage and relax.

  • A wonderful place to stay

    by Russell C on 2019-07-28 12:09 am

I cannot give enough stars to the Inn on Ferry Street. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Clean, spacious room with a very comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning and helpful and friendly staff. The location is great and we could walk to Detroit's museums plus there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

  • Three nights in Detroit

by KismetWoods on 2019-07-27 05:24 am

The Inn on Ferry Street was recommended by a friend's travel site Globalphile. What a Wonderful place to stay in Detroit. The D?A is around the corner as well as the history museum. Also close by is the museum of contemporary art.

The Inn offered a delightful driving service to take us downtown for dinner. The drivers Charles and Lawrence were great. There the Qline which right at the end of the street and is Fast & Easy to use.

Our accommodations were also outstanding, spacious, comfortable on all levels. The three fully restored homes have been decorated thoughtfully and appropriately.

We would absolutely come back and spend few days here.
