Visit the Peak Tram Terminal, located just steps away from The Murray, to take a ride on one of the world’s oldest funicular railways. The tram takes passengers up to Victoria Peak and offers fabulous panoramic views of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. The Peak Tram has been operating in Hong Kong since 1888.
Explore PMQ, Hong Kong’s creative retail hub that is home to more than 100 emerging local artists and creative entrepreneurs. The building was built in 1951 as the Police Married Headquarters, but was repurposed as a creative space in 2010. The space features dozens of small galleries and shops selling local handmade jewelry, leather goods, prints, clothing and more. PMQ is a wonderful place to find unique gifts and souvenirs while supporting the local creative talent of Hong Kong.
Experience Temple Street Night Market, a popular street bazaar with street stalls, fortune tellers and food vendors located just a short drive or rail ride from the hotel. The market starts at 2 p.m., but is lively at dusk daily. The market is famous for its snacks and roadside dining and is a terrific way to experience Chinese culture.
Visit Victoria Harbor, which is less than a mile from the hotel. The harbor is a bustling area with waterfront scenery and popular nighttime light and firework displays.
