was a guest here this past weekend with the park west gallery VIP event and i must say my handicap room was great - plenty of room to use a wheelchair or mobility device - large roll in shower and plenty of hand rails in bathroom with plenty of room to use wheelchair in there too - we had buffet style meals for the event but food was really good and all the salads and fruit were very fresh - staff around the whole resort were great
if you golf this is a great place to come for that also - but for a regular stay its awesome - had lunch 2x's in the wigwam bar and they were really good

We were in the area for our grandsons high school graduation and stayed at this amazing resort. I loved the location as Goodyear and Litchfield Park seem to be nice quiet communities. Easy on/off access to I-10 which I enjoyed being away from.

After a quick check in, Jack had us follow him in his golf cart and were able to park right outside our room which was towards the back. Our traditional adobe suite had a huge living room and very comfortable bed and bath.

Room service was prompt only wish they had more meal options. We had exceptional service at both the Wig Wam Bar and Grill and Red's. Especially enjoyed the trip over to Red's on the golf cart taxi driven by Mike. A great memory shared with our son and his family who dined with us.

We can't wait to return as we could not find one thing to complain about. Every employee we encountered was friendly and eager to help us with any questions that we had. Loved this place!

We rented two rooms for a family get-together at the Wigwam, and had a fabulous time! This resort is a gem in lovely upscale Litchfield Park, suitable for beautiful walks around the neighborhood, and convenient for travel to all Phoenix attractions.
The rooms are clean and spacious, and each has a wonderful patio or balcony with chairs and table for outdoor enjoyment. Great pool(s) and hot tub, and a fantastic fitness room with a spin bike, two recumbent bikes, rowing machine, multiple treadmills and ellipticals, multiple weight machines for upper and lower workouts, 2 Universal machines and free weights. Also check out the fitness class schedule which offers yoga and other activities.
No kitchen or W/D, but each room has a refrigerator and coffee maker, and our studio units had King bed and a pullout sofa. We were fortunate to have below normal temperatures ("only in the 70's"), so we enjoyed daily hikes at Camelback, Piestewa Peak Park, and Papago Park, as well as a wonderful sunrise Hot Air Balloon adventure. Wonderful saguaro cacti within the resort and growing wildly in the entire area, and we truly enjoyed the beautiful desert blooms with [surprisingly] magnificent pink, white, yellow blooms abounding. Great caf? across the street from Wigwam for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of local restaurants all within a short drive.
We would love to visit again if we are back in the Phoenix area.

  • We loved this resort!

This resort is fabulous! We were upgraded to a King Suite, with a really nice patio on the first floor. The room was very large, and the bathroom was great. We love to be outside, so a patio/balcony unit is always what we want. We had easy access to the nice pool right off our patio. The room was big and very clean! We would definitely book at this resort in the future.

Its truly a two and a half but I'll round up to a three to be nice.

This review is mainly for the condition of the rooms. They need a renovation. I was disappointed as I walked into my room after seeing how beautiful the grounds are here. My room had chips, stains, dents, dust, and bugs. I have stayed in lower class hotels that didnt have bugs and as one of those people that is scared of most bugs, this upset me the most. There was some kinda beetle in the bathroom, a random bug on the panel of the wall, and a spider on the ceiling. I get that this can happen but when a room is freshly cleaned the likelihood of this taking place is lowered.
My room had visible crumbs and left over stains that were carelessly missed or ignored. My husband actually took the time to clean whatever the stains on the bathroom wall were to make me feel more comfortable.

I did call to ask for a updated or recently renovated room which I was willing to pay for. The first person I spoke to was no help at all. She actually asked if I wanted my room to be sprayed for the bugs because its so common. I was like what?? I have 3 year old kids, no thanks.
The second lady I spoke to at the front desk was very nice. She offered for me to look at another room which I did but it was awkward because the bell boy was with me and I felt rushed. I honestly didn't want to take the risk I would find something worse in the second room so I just stuck with the one I was already in.

The overall staff here was very friendly. Customer service was not the issue. They gave us a cute little welcome package with candy and snacks just because my husband is from Arizona.

The tile around pool area needs to be fixed. It has several dents, chips, and holes. I had issues with receiving my drinks because they were in clearly visible dirty glasses at the restaurants a few times.

I'm just disappointed with the representation of this place online vs the reality but kudos to Wigwam for knowing how to advertise.

    I wouldn't return.
