  • Not worth $200+ per night

    Major disappointment!! We stayed here for a week on business and it was such a disappointment. As soon as we walked in the room, we wanted to change hotel but it was too late. The furniture is old and beat-up, the comforter/sheets have big spots of stain everywhere. This is a conference hotel, downtown, $200+ per night but NO REFRIGERATOR!! It was a surprise to us all! One major disappointment was when we were out of cups for tea and we saw a housekeeping cart but didn't see any staff to ask so we took some back to our room. A few mins later the housekeeper knocked on our room and asked "did you take my cups?" We said yes because we need some cups for tea but didn't see anyone. She made the case that those were hers and we should've asked from the staff that responsible for that side of the hall and not hers. My husband felt guilty so gave her $10 for a few hotel paper cups. We couldn't believe it but washington hilton was a major disappointment!!

  • Great looking hotel

    Great looking hotel, perfect location, amenities that far exceeded an average guests needs. Staff friendly, easy check-in for me. Room with good finishes. Bed was comfortable. Nice bar, restaurant. Cute little market inside

  • Just okay

    Basic conference hotel. Avoid rooms on the inside of the arc because they face a condo complex. The outer side may have a better, more private view. The room key can be accessed via an app, but it can be glitchy and you may be stuck at your door trying to get the room key to work. Besides that, it's a decent stay.

  • Desperately in need of an update

    This hotel is old and worn. It needs a redo from top to bottom. Check-in was super-slow even for Honors members and I couldn't figure out why. My first room was across from the service elevator and it sounded like a freight train. Security came up to investigate. The woman was very friendly and relocated me very quickly, but it was a hassle to have to move,

    There are lots of other choices in DC. I'd definitely skip the Washington Hilton and opt for something else.

  • Awful service

    Front desk people are overworked and range from unpleasant to outright rude. The person who makes lattes made a very mean comment to me about my physical disability. The wait staff took forever to bring me my check as they stood around and chatted with colleagues. The concierge seemed pleasant but lacks knowledge as he recommended a. place that was Terrible.
    Our room was clean but very small -heads up-no mini fridge.
