With the casual ambience of a 1920s speakeasy, License No. 1 is the perfect location to enjoy post-work happy hour or late-night libations. License No. 1, aptly named for having acquired Boulder’s first liquor license when local "prohibition" ended in 1967, offers tantalizing cocktails made from an array of top-shelf liquors, along with wines and local craft beers. Celebrate happy hour daily with cocktail and food specials. Amp up the evening with live music from local bands on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Billiards, skee ball, and a photo booth are available for added entertainment. Open daily.

Spruce Farm & Fish, located inside Hotel Boulderado’s beautiful dining room, offers creative, yet casual, sustainably sourced menu, along with exceptional and friendly service. To accompany the meal, the bar offers espresso drinks, an extensive selection of wines by the glass, and locally sourced spirits and craft beers. Happy-hour specials, available daily, include “Two-Buck Shuck” oysters on the half shell, prime rib sliders, seasonal small plates and fresh cocktails.
