Perched high above the Victorian village of Eureka Springs, Arkansas—recognized by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations—is the 1886 Crescent Hotel & Spa, a palatial structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places and landmark hotel known widely as the “symbol of hospitality” for the State of Arkansas and Ozark Mountain region.
Located in the Eureka Springs’ Historic District—home to more than 100 restored Victorian shops, restaurants, and galleries—this Victorian hotel is surrounded by hundreds of Victorian cottages, ample green space, and hidden trails that connect this tower of native limestone to the Downtown District. The Crescent has retained its 19th century character: the 14-foot ceilings of the Crystal Ballroom, the elegant and hand-painted lobby, the upscale guest rooms, and the large verandas that allow guests to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
The Ozark Mountains’ premier spa, The New Moon Spa & Salon, occupies the entire Garden Level of the hotel and boasts a day spa, salon, and advanced skin treatments and is especially a favorite of those brides who choose “The Wedding Capital of The South” for their destination wedding.
Adding to that bridal popularity of this “Castle in The Sky” is the resort’s picturesque location atop West Mountain and its proximity to Thorncrown Chapel.
