Baker House Accommodations
Guests of the Baker House are part of a highly discriminating, interesting clientele that desire a unique experience that is as luxurious as it is mysterious. Every guestroom offers a distinct personality, individually decorated with period pieces, timeless elegance, and exotic artifacts. Whether choosing a Premier Room or Luxury Suite, an en-suite spa bath, original working fireplace, and expansive lake views grace all guestrooms.

The grandest of suites, Versailles is designed for contemporary royalty with a private "Turret" sitting room, perfect to relax in and watch the sun set across the glimmering lake, or put your feet up on the oversized tufted ottoman and leisurely sip morning coffee and read the paper in a bathrobe. The dramatic four poster carved bed with crown canopy is draped in Italian lace above a custom king-size, handmade luxury mattress by Ostermoor, wrapped in linens so sumptuous guests will truly melt into them. The picture window alongside the bed offers postcard views of the lake and Riviera, giving one plenty of reason not to get out of bed.

This suite is a cozy favorite of guests, with rich colors of red, brown, and golds. Inspired by the antique, red tufted velvet bed, brass chandelier, fireside leather bench, and antique side board, this seductive suite has a vintage vibe of bordello meets manor house.

The decadent bath is an experience of antiquity and curiosity, with gilt wood Victrola-turned-sink with hand hammered brass inset and marble top, leather embossed walls of faux crocodile, 1880s carved scrimshaw, and a Jacuzzi soaking tub for two surrounded by antique tile and a nautical mirrored port hole you can almost see the Orient through.

The "French~est" of suites combines classic blue toile, large crystal chandelier, and antique heirlooms with clean-line contemporary accents, such as crème leather walls, silver studded benches, and 1920s Eileen Gray chrome and glass tables. There are two large windows that flank the bed, giving way to expansive views of Geneva Lake and magnificent sunsets. The custom spa bath with heated marble floors, luxuriant steam shower, Grohe rain head, and multiple body jets alongside the large bench for two is a relaxing get-away all its own. Order refreshing beverages or a tower of fresh fruits from the "Aqua Menu" for sensuous shower delights.

Experience a truly beautifully appointed suite with gorgeous views of Geneva Lake and its magnificent sunset. The walls of this suite are covered in lush champagne fabric that shimmer from the reflection of the crystal sconces and antique chandelier. Twelve rare Gibson Girl lithographs hang throughout this suite further enhancing the Gilded Age plush decor.
