Activities & Events

Hotel Congress is home to a year-round schedule of unique events and activities for visitors who love arts, entertainment, history, culture, and the culinary arts.

Signature events include:

  • New Year's Eve: The place to be with specialty cocktails, a special menu, and room packages.
  • HOCO Fest: An annual 4-day music festival that celebrates Arizona's ever expanding music scene.
  • Agave Heritage Week: An annual celebration of food, culture, and Tequila from our neighbor to the south.
  • Dillinger Days: Celebrate the capture of the famed bank robber and his gang (who were caught at the hotel in 1934) in grand style with reenactments, a speakeasy, and other special events.

On-site facilities include:

  • Tiger's Tap Room: The hotel's iconic bar, which opened in 1919 and features original drawings by acclaimed cowboy-artist Pete Martinez, has a period vibe that cannot be found anywhere else.
  • Cup Café: The signature Hotel Congress restaurant, serving eclectic American fare seven days a week in downtown Tucson. The Cup is an award-winning destination for locals and visitors alike, complete with a full bar, dining room, and plaza seating. Don’t miss the build-your-own Bloody Mary bar or the freshly made desserts.
  • Club Congress: Established in 1985, the music-themed club is the longest running venue of its kind west of the Mississippi. With entertainment scheduled seven nights a week, the club regularly books up and coming acts, along with nationally recognized bands, in the intimate space just off the main lobby. The club was named one of the best bars in America by Esquire magazine in 2007.
