The Barton

The Barton Restaurant is recognized as one of the finest on the island of Ireland and is widely celebrated for its award-winning cuisine and extensive wine list. In the elegant surroundings of our Barton Restaurant dining room, guests will enjoy exquisite dishes created by a highly experienced and passionate team of chefs, along with a wine list showcasing the finest wines from around the world.

Blue Martini Cocktail Bar

Overlooking the beautifully manicured K Club gardens, Blue Martini Cocktail Bar is an opulent cocktail bar featuring an unrivaled collection of whiskeys and gins as well as an extensive list of creative cocktails crafted by expert mixologists. This relaxing environment is the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink, including some fine Champagnes and beautiful Barton & Guestier wines.

The Palmer

The Palmer serves a bright and early breakfast, leisurely lunch, and classic dinner every evening. The focus at The Palmer is on modern comfort food, creating a sunny and satisfying approach to produce-led dishes in a luxurious but informal atmosphere.

The Straffan Inn

The Straffan Inn is a local pub and a real gem in the heart of Straffan. Originally built in 1820 as a Garrison to the British troops, the building was later transformed into a police station for the Straffan community. The Straffan Inn was then converted to a public house in 1920 and run as a family-owned pub while also doubling as a house. Serving local beers & traditional Irish cuisine the Straffan Inn is a great place to relax and experience a real Irish pub.

The Henry Lounge

The Henry Lounge is a laidback hotel bar located in the newly built wing of The K Club. It is a relaxing, comfortable space in which to enjoy a casual lunch, a pre-dinner aperitif or a pint of creamy Irish Guinness. The Henry Lounge is painted in a classic racing green and features French windows that open out to The K Club’s gorgeous lawns. The Gatsby-style chandeliers in the lounge were taken from the old swimming pool in the hotel, which were fitted by one of the previous owners, Iranian Air Force founder Nader Jahanbani.

Afternoon Tea

Afternoon Tea at The K Club is served in the original Straffan House wing of the hotel. Straffan House offers impeccable ambiance for a refined tea service, with hand-painted wallpaper, picture windows, and a magnificent fireplace. Guests can enjoy an array of fresh baked goods, finger sandwiches and pastries, and a variety of both vintage and contemporary teas.

South Bar & Restaurant

South Bar & Restaurant reflects the trailblazing spirit of The K Club. This lively lounge offers relaxed, open-plan seating and a chic outdoor terrace with sweeping views of Palmer South golf course.

Barton & Guestier

Bordeaux Reserve from Barton & Guestier is the exclusive label chosen for The K Club. In 1722 Thomas Barton left his native Ireland and settled in Bordeaux where he founded an important wine business which bears his name today. The family business flourished under the guidance of his grandson, Hugh Barton, who bought Chateau Langoa in 1821 and part of the Leoville Barton Estate in 1826. In 1793 during the French Reign of Terror, Hugh Barton managed to escape to Ireland and left his business under the control of his business partner Daniel Guestier. On reaching Ireland, Hugh Barton bought Straffan Estate and built this wonderful chateau style house where his family remained until 1949 when they sold Straffan House Estate and returned to France permanently. Today, the house forms part of the The K Club. Since 2012, the hotel's Chief Sommelier, Lisa O Doherty, has traveled to Bordeaux every year to assist the winemaker with the blend.
