  • Girls Spa Day

by santanakl on 2020-03-05 11:29 am

We love this place to enjoy a day with our girlfriends. We can just relax or my favorites are to get a message, take a yoga class and grab a drink and catch up with friends. We book a day at least once a year together.

  • Relax and Enjoy

    by ingridt88 on 2020-02-25 04:14 am

The Spa area is clean, well maintained and fully stocked with essentials. The hot stone massage with Jessica and Mani/Pedi with Paige, outstanding!
Friendly and caring about YOU as a individual to assure the highest level of relaxation.

A gentle note to the Spa Director .
Your "whisper zones"should be monitored more frequently to assure the serenity of the Spa is not diluted with chatter.

Quiet room is wonderful however, when in the hot tub and sauna area, the noise level of chatter is beyond belief and takes away from the initial "Shhhhhh" moments we all crave.

    Owner Response
Dear Ingridt, Thank you so much for reviewing your recent visit. We're so glad you enjoyed your Hot Stone Massage and Mani/Pedi, and we will be sure to pass on your compliments on to Jessica and Paige. Your feedback is valued and we have pass your suggestions regarding "whisper zones" on to our Spa Director.

  • My fav spa

    by Michele G on 2020-02-24 05:31 am

Have been coming here since I was younger. One of my fav places. Such a nice atmosphere and day. We normally do a day trip here with my mom but I have done trips with my girl friends. Completely worth the money and soo many activities avaiable. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere and they offer great complementary services- tea/scones, meditation, walks. This is nice place for a weekend as they are also across from mohegan or close by winery's. Overall a must!

    Owner Response
Dear Michele, Thank you for your kind words. We love hearing from our frequent guests! And we agree, there are so many great activities and attractions close by you can truly create a completely customizable escape every time!

    Mohegan Sun

    Owner Response
    Dear Jon,
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience the renovations in our dining room may have caused you during your stay. Although we have been able to maintain breakfast and lunch service, we have made multiple efforts to inform all guest affected during this transition not only in the reservation process, but also by providing a detailed letter at check-in with specific alternative offerings for dinner, including door to door transportation to neighboring restaurants. As we are a historic inn nestled amongst the countryside, we offer a much different and quieter setting to relax and rejuvenate than nearby Mohegan Casino. We hope that you'll give us another chance to enjoy the experience we are known for.

  • Skip the Pedicure

    by nicholmk1 on 2020-02-19 05:37 pm

Upon arrival, the staff were all welcoming and the grounds were very nice. I was booked for the honey bee pedicure. I would not recommend this experience. The pedicure was subpar for the price. The pedicurist was not friendly and the one taking care of my friend was very rude. I was a bit shocked at this. You pick your color from a laminated paper, which had a decent selection. Then I explained I had some skin irritation from my cross-fit workout, which was promptly ignored and made exfoliation very painful. The massage portion of the pedicure was not existent, Essentially they slap some lotion on and call it a day. This was disappointing, I was looking forward to some massage as I am on my feet all day for work. The cuticle care and painting of the toenails was okay and the pedicure has held up for a week now. All in all, I would not recommend the pedicure services, you get a better value at 'non-spa' nail salons. I understand that one pays a premium for the spa experience, however the service should be excellent as well.
