Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel Stay - Cincinnati, OH
Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay at either Cincinnati – Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza or Millennium Hotel Cincinnati.
Day 2: Embark - Cincinnati, OH
Embark the American Queen Steamboat and kick off the start of the journey with a festive Welcome Aboard Dinner.
Day 3: Louisville, KY
Since its frontier founding at the time of the American Revolution, Louisville has always been a cultural hub, balancing a sense of history with an ability to re-invent itself as the city of originals. A Hop On-Hop Off Steamcoach will transport guests throughout the city to explore its refined attractions and historic landmarks. Tour sights include Louisville’s Visitor Center, boxing cultural attraction Muhammad Ali Center, Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts, the Louisville Slugger Bat Factory, and the Frazier International Military Museum. Guests are encouraged to visit The Glass Work and Muth's Candy Store to delight in sensory stimulation or stroll down Fourth Street Live to experience premium dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Day 4: Madison, IN
With the Steamcoach, guests will explore the highlights of the beautiful southern Indian town of Madison, including the 19th century Schroeder Saddletree Factory Museum, the ornate Broadway Fountain, a tour of the The Lanier Mansion, and various family-owned and operated businesses. In the evening, the Steamcoach will escort guests to the Thomas Family Winery for a night of wine tasting and Celtic music.
Day 5: Disembark - Cincinnati, OH
Though the journey ends in Cincinnati, if time permits, guests are encouraged to linger and learn about Cincinnati’s culture with a visit to a settler’s cabin or the famous Rookwood Pottery Factory for a souvenir.
