Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel Stay - Cincinnati, OH
Enjoy a one-night luxury hotel stay at either Cincinnati – Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza or Millennium Hotel Cincinnati.
Day 2: Embark - Cincinnati, OH
Departure: 7:30 PM
Embark the American Queen Steamboat and kick off the start of the journey with a festive Welcome Aboard Dinner.
Day 3: Maysville, KY
Guests will board a Hop On– Hop Off Steamcoach to explore Maysville with a narrated tour. The tour will transport guests to exciting attractions, including the Floodwall River Mural, the Opera Theatre, The Kentucky Gateway Museum Center, and the famous Spanish-style Russell Theater, where Rosemary Clooney’s “The Stars are Singing” premiered in 1953.
Day 4: Huntington, WV
A town of true character, Huntington is home to Marshall University and one of the first amusement parks, Camden Park, where the first carousel was opened in 1903, and its first rollercoaster was completed in 1912.
Day 5: Point Pleasant, WV
Boasting the stunning Point Pleasant Riverfront Park, where floodwall murals depict scenes of local history, Point Pleasant offers many significant cultural sights that can be explored on foot. The tour of this beautiful river town includes visits to the Point Pleasant River Museum, shopping downtown in the Twin River Area, the 18th century Mansion House, and the four-acre Tu-Endie-Wei State Park, which commemorates the October 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant.
Day 6: Marietta, OH
Guests will begin their Marietta adventure with a walking tour of front street, then head toward The Castle to explore its opulent Gothic Revival architecture and art collection. The tour will also make stops to Mound Cemetery, the Campus Martius Museum, the Ohio River Museum, and the Historic Harmar Village where visitors can enjoy dining, shopping, and more cultural attractions.
Day 7: Wheeling, WV
The tour of Wheeling includes visits to the trendy shops, eateries, and entertainment at the Centre Market, the grand Victorian Eckhart House, the Capitol Theatre, and the West Virginia Independence Hall, where visitors will discover West Virginia's story during the Civil War.
Day 8: Disembark - Pittsburgh, PA
Guests will disembark in Pittsburgh, but are encouraged to continue their adventure by exploring the sights and sounds of the exciting town.
