Civil War Vacation Packages

From 2011 to 2016, Historic Hotels of America is commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War with packages specifically created for guests interested in Civil War history. Journey back in time with tours of historic battlefields, interpretive re-enactments, and other historically significant events while staying at hotels that are closely linked to this time period in history. The trail aims to bring history to life by exposing visitors not only to military history, but also to the political, social, and human components of the war.
