The Civil War Cocktail of Antrim 1844 is named after one of the most important events in American history. One of the most important battles of the Civil War took place twenty minutes away in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Made with Saint George’s Gin, Vermouth, and Bràulio, this signature cocktail is made in the hotel's Pickwick Pub, which is home to some of the finest cognacs and whiskeys in the world.
The Maryland crab cake is one of the specialties at Antrim 1844's Smokehouse Restaurant, which is a flavorful Carroll County favorite that is raved about by locals and visitors alike. Made in-house with locally-grown, hand-selected ingredients, the hotel's crab cake features Jumbo Lump crab meat blended together with gluten free breadcrumbs, sautéed onions, red pepper, and celery. The crabmeat and ingredients are then served with a combination of mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, lemon juice, chives and parsley.
