Since 1886, Basin Harbor has provided its guests with highly praised cuisine - farm-to-table is not a new concept. In an attempt to make the dining experience as memorable as possible, the chefs have collaborated with local growers from Addison County and others areas of Vermont to supply diners with the freshest products available.

Guests may dine in the lakeside elegance of Ardelia’s Dining Room, while enjoying remarkable views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. Feast on the classic breakfast buffet, served daily; or partake in a memorable three-course dinner, featuring expertly crafted contemporary dishes highlighting local Vermont ingredients. The “Production de proximite” offers guests at Basin Harbor a wonderful culinary experience with a French influence cuisine, which marries ingredients and different flavors in harmony to keep the great taste of the “Terroir” as authentic as possible.

The casual ambiance of The Red Mill Restaurant is a local favorite. This renovated sawmill features a pub-style menu using fresh and local ingredients, and offers a wide selection of Vermont craft brews, including the resort's very own beer Golden Hour brewed by local Hired Hand Brewing.

Savor a lakeside, al fresco dining experience on the North Dock and Lakeside Lawn, where guests can enjoy buffet dinners three nights a week during the Summer season. Dine alongside some of the best views Vermont has to offer while listening to the soul-southing sounds of local musicians.

Vermont has been heralded as a forerunner in the Localvore movement. Basin Harbor’s relationship with local farms ensures fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The staff prides itself on carefully crafted menus and impeccable service, insuring that every dining experience at Basin Harbor is a memorable one.
