Hotel B Ice Cream Parlor

Open since 2014, the Hotel B Ice Cream Parlor serves delicious scoups of Penn State Creamery Ice Cream. Even though the parlor resides in its own building across the street, it remains one of the hotel's most popular attraction. It sells more than 500 gallons of ice cream each year, and features a daily rotating list of 12 flavors.

Open Table has named this event one of the "Top 100 Brunches" in the country. 1741 on the Terrace features a hearty buffet complemented by live music. It's also been voted "Best in the Valley" by readers of the Morning Call newspaper and "Best Sunday Brunch" by Lehigh Valley Style magazine. The buffet includes made-to-order omelettes and waffles, salads, a carving station, raw bar, luncheon entrees, breads, and a variety of pastries to satisfy a Sunday morning sweet tooth.

The Moravian Sugar Cake is a traditional bread-type dessert started by colonial Moravian settlers in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, circa 1741. In the past, the cake would often be served during a “Love Feast,” or a time during worship when people shared simple, but satisfying, food to sustain themselves.
