Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inns of Aurora form the nucleus to one of New York’s most historic villages. The Inns of Aurora is a unique collection of five boutique hotels in a storybook setting. Each hotel has their own special character, with many of the interiors specifically designed by their founder, Pleasant Rowland. The most historic of the Inns of Aurora, the Aurora Inn was originally constructed as a quint lakeside getaway in 1833. Guests can experience the beauty of Lake Cayuga, the longest of New York’s 11 famous Finger Lakes, this majestic body of water is a glacial lake named after the area’s native Cayuga people. The inns all provide for a luxurious getaway in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region.
