• Take in the stunning panoramic mountain views that first captured the imagination of travelers back in 1865, when these vistas captivated visitors and led Frank and Mary Dodge to take in boarders at their humble family farm then convert it into an inn they named the Mountain View House. Accommodating visitors ever since, the resort was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

• Discover the Eisenhower Library, originally called simply The Library when it was added in 1906 and now named after President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who visited the resort frequently in the 1950s and was said to be especially fond of the reading room.

• Attend a performance at the Weathervane Theatre nearby. This rustic venue is among the best places in the region for live entertainment.
