• Visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Park. The park includes three sites: King’s birthplace, his grave, and Ebenezer Baptist Church—he gave his first sermon there at age 19 and he became co-pastor with his father at the age of 31 in 1960.

• Experience the historic Swan House, located at the Atlanta History Center. Its Renaissance Revival-style includes at its rear entrance a majestic pair of grand staircases flanking a magnificent cascading fountain.

• Tour the Margaret Mitchell House. She wrote the Pulitzer Prize-winning Gone With the Wind, which became an Oscar-winning movie.
