Open since 1919, historic Hotel Congress is Arizona’s longest continuously operating hotel. The Spanish/Mission Revival complex is part hotel, part award-winning restaurant and bar, and part world-renowned nightclub wrapped into one. The hotel’s period guestrooms have been classically renovated and updated. Every nook and cranny of the hotel provides a window to the past. During 2019, the hotel will celebrate its centennial throughout the year, as well as recurring annual events, such as Dillinger Days. This occurs each January to mark the capture of the famed bank robber and his gang in 1934. Agave Heritage Week highlights cultural ties between Mexico and Tucson and agave-inspired art, culture, food, and beverages such as agave-based spirits.
