Built in the shadow of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, The Lodge at the Presidio is San Francisco’s closest lodging to the bridge. It is located in the former Montgomery Street Barracks, which the government constructed between 1895 and 1897. The 42-room, three-story hotel opened in the historic U.S. Army barracks in 2018 and exemplifies the highest standards of sustainability. The majority of the guestrooms feature stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, the city skyline, as well as the Golden Gate Bridge. The hotel has been featured in top tier media outlets including The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, and Travel + Leisure.
