The relaxed pace of Provence does not befit the harried or hasty; its narrow vineyard paths, secluded olive groves and limestone ridges are proof of that. The wines are not to be rushed, either; once guests have sampled a Côtes du Rhône or Côtes du Lubéron in its natural habitat, they will understand why.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1 | Le Petit Lubéron
After rendezvousing in Avignon, guests will be transferred to the start of their first walk which takes everyone to the heart of the Lubéron and the village of Gordes. In the evening, enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner from Chef Laurent Houdard.

Day 2 | Le Petit Lubéron
Begin the day’s journey winding through vineyards, pastures, and forest groves to the hilltop village of Bonnieux. Explore this charming town and continue the journey to Lacoste, once home to the Marquis de Sade, and past the most beautiful scenery before returning to the hotel.

Day 3 | St-Rémy de Provence
The morning’s walk begins at “Jardins de l’Alchimiste” and concludes at Château Romanin, for a tasting from its wine cellar. Afterwards, guests can enjoy an optional walk along the edge of the Alpilles before concluding in St. Rémy de Provence.

Day 4 | Les Baux, Les Alpilles, and the Camargue
Enjoy a guided walk in Vincent van Gogh’s footsteps, visiting the historic asylum he spent his last days and through the fields he depicted in many of his works. Continue the journey by climbing up a cliff high above Val d’Enfer, the famous valley that inspired Dante to write his Inferno, and exploring the citadel of Les Baux.

Day 5 | Les Baux, Les Alpilles, and the Camargue
Walk to the south park of the Alpilles via the Vallon de Courtézon, towards the charming village of Maussane. Take in the amazing vistas and delve farther into the foothills of the Alpilles on an extraordinary hike.

Day 6 | Departure
After the trip’s final breakfast, guests are driven to the Avignon train station to catch a TGV train to Paris.
