The Det Lille Hotel features 17 cozy, comfortable Seaman’s Suites that are located in wonderfully restored buildings in Risør. Thirteen of the hotel’s suites are in the heart of the historic, charming town of Risør. From the suites, there is easy access to shops, bars, restaurants, and hiking trails. Four of the suites are just outside of the town square in a neighborhood called Buvika. This baroque building, called the “Vatican,” dates back to 1750 and has been lovingly restored. It is one of the oldest houses in Risør and the Department of Cultural Heritage has given it heritage status. The suites in Storgata is where guests can find the hotel reception, parking, and dining room. There is also a heated swimming pool and private garden in this area. The seven suites in Kragsgate surround a picturesque courtyard and can accommodate up to 31 guests total, with the dining table seating 16. Guests can expect cable on flat-panel televisions, daily housekeeping, and a breakfast buffet every morning.
