Accommodations

Sleep in historical surroundings in Fretheim Hotel's signature room. Each room is unique and is furnished with beautiful antique furniture. The bathrooms also reflect the the hotel's history with gilded taps and bathtubs with lion's feet in some of the rooms. All rooms have king-size double beds and espresso machines. Bathrobe and slippers are included.

Originally built in the 1960s and recently renovated, the America rooms are styled after the first-class cabins on the ships travelling from Europe to America around 1900. These unique accommodations boast twin beds, luxurious Leather chairs, lush dark blue wallpaper, and spacious balconies facing the garden, Flåm city center, and the fjord.

Located at the back of the hotel, the Standard rooms offer peace and tranquillity with views to the mountain and walking paths on the hillside. The rooms have adjoined twin beds, desk, TV and bathroom with combined shower and bathtub. Some of the rooms have exit to a small patio.

Located on the top floor of the hotel, the single rooms offer fantastic views of Flåm, the fjord and the surrounding mountains and farmland. In the winter, guests have direct access to stargazing from the seating area in the bay window. All Single rooms contain a queen size bed, seating area, desk, TV and bathroom with combined shower and bathtub.

With the two adjoined twin beds and a bunk bed with full length there is plenty of space for a family of four in the Family rooms. The rooms are spacious with seating area, desk and TV. The bathroom boasts a combined shower and bathtub.

The Junior Suites are the largest rooms with the best location. The six suites are located at the far end of the newest part of the hotel and all have either a balcony or a patio facing the fjord. The Junior Suites contain two single beds, a seating area with sofa and lounge chairs, a dining table, and a combined bathtub and shower.

The Storehouse is a unique accommodation in Flåm. This cozy and recently restored storehouse from 1928 transports guests back in time and complements the surrounding nature. It contains one double room, four single rooms, a bathroom, and a common room.
