  • Large Rooms - Good Value

    by Cindy T on 2018-09-19 11:34 am

I arrived for a convention in the city. The first 3 nights were at the Marriott - where I paid $200 a night for a tiny room (and that was with the group discount rate!) I switched hotels after convention and wished I had stayed at the Hilton the entire time. Our room and bathroom were easily twice the size of the room we had at The Marriott and we were given free internet (verses reduced internet) and I upgraded to the Executive level to take advantage of the breakfast and happy hour. Only disappointing part was discovering no happy hour on weekends (WTF?) and that was NOT mentioned at check-in despite me stating I specifically wanted that perk. Found out after getting to the room and seeing Lounge hours on a small piece of paper tucked into my room key holder.

  • Great location and staff

After having an issue with no hot water, the manager upgraded my room and compted one of my nights. They went above and beyond. The bed was very comfortable and I had some of the best food at the restaurant. The hamburger at Luke's was one of the best ones I've ever had!!

  • Disgusting Property!

    by Marti826 on 2018-09-17 02:25 pm

I stay at Hiltons all over the world and decided to stay here because I am a Gold Hilton member and wanted to use my points. The rooms are dated, the suite I was put in had a couch that was ripped all over, and dirty, the furniture is stained, and there are bugs. The service is apathetic and there are no Hilton Honors benefit here. Hilton should run as far away from this place as possible, because it destroys the brand!!!

  • Great Location

Staff was very pleasant. Location is perfect for the Quarters and Arena. The breakfast on the Executive level was decent, nothing to brag about. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a football game, great food and some night life.

  • Somewhat Disappointing

I booked this hotel when I was in town for a hearing. I picked this propert because I generally like Hilton properties, the location was close to the courthouse and was a good price. Overall service was good but I was frustrated with a few things. First, I upgraded to a suite at check in but the first room they put me in had no lights working around the bathroom mirror. They did move me quickly to another suit. The next morning I used the gym and the facilities were good. However when I returned to my room to shower I discovered that there was no shampoo in the room. I called the desk for some and was told it would be right up. After 45 minuets it had not arrived so I went down to get some. I was told the whole hotel was out of shampoo and I could go down the street and buy some. Needless to say I really had no choice as I was due in court. I did go purchase shampoo (a travel size bottle for $5). You just don't expect this when you pay for a Hilton, let alone a suit.
