Le Beaulieu

With an elegant and sophisticated new design, alongside renowned French gastronomy and a wide selection of wines, the signature restaurant at Metropole Hanoi ties together the hotel’s 120-year-old storied past with a contemporary new look that manages to meld the opulent, the classical and the modern in a single scheme that’s long on white, gold and heathery blue-grays. The menu at Le Beaulieu continues to spotlight modern French gastronomy with nods to classical French flavors and an emphasis on seasonality and superior ingredients. The restaurant’s inventive approach both to cuisine and service is enhanced by a chef-driven perspective. While there are some traditional French touches, the presentation is stylish, with well-balanced portions and fresh produce from France, Vietnam, and elsewhere. Inspired by famous French sidewalk cafés, La Terrasse gives guests a chance to sit in style while observing the capital city’s bustling life. Watching passers-by, reading newspapers, sipping an expresso and dining al fresco, our clients refresh as time imperceptibly slips by. With its classic Paris-inspired furniture and refined dining on the hotel’s picturesque outdoor patio, this beautiful terrace offers a casual al fesco selection with a fine touch of local signatures, including salades gourmandes, tartines, artisanal sandwiches, starters, and more.

Le Club Bar

Overlooking a beautiful hotel garden courtyard, this airy venue offers Hanoi’s legendary cocktail lounge experience. In addition to the scrumptious menu, Le Club Bar features a delectable chocolate indulgence and afternoon tea. Having just undergone renovation in 2016 to increase its seating capacity to 120 and to introduce a new live-cooking station, Le Club at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is a sparkling destination. With a design that calls to mind aristocratic smoking rooms with a hint of 1920s speakeasy, there is history here underneath the brand new coat of paint. Where Le Club now stands used to be the former Metropole Hall, the venue that hosted the first gala meeting of the Nouvelle Entreprise Cinématographique. The first movie ever shown in Indo-China played right here on the 3rd of June, 1916.

The Bamboo Bar

With its thatched roof and wooden floor, The Bamboo Bar is an ideal spot to relax beside the delightful swimming pool with a refreshing cocktail. The casual setting of this poolside venue invites guests to unwind with the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi signature Graham Greene Martini. Adjacent to Le Club, Bamboo Bar serves light meals, gourmet ice cream, desserts, fruit juices, coffees, teas and refreshing cocktails. Light snacks are offered throughout the day. This is always the busiest spot in the hotel, but also the most storied as underneath it lies the historic Metropole Bomb Shelter.
