  • Can I give more than 5 âï¸s?

This place was phenomenal right from the start. We were greeted at the top of the hill. Welcomed by name when we got down to the parking. Everyone the entire time we were there provided over the top, exceptional service. Hotel itself and the rooms, gorgeous. The fireplaces are so large, you can stand in them. We were on the Club floor, and Mike, Mark, John, Kristie and Celeste took care of our every need. Many thanks to all of you! Loved being able to go into the lounge for breakfast or a drink and appetizers. Shops in the main level were the nicest I have ever seen in a hotel. View from the hotel of the mountains ... is exquisite. A friend visited the spa and loved it. I was sad to leave and hope to return again some day! I also loved Asheville. What a lovely city.

  • Historic Hotel Splurge...the âotherâ Biltmore

    by Q7269BSkevinb on 2019-05-19 07:08 pm

I love visiting Asheville and like many, have concentrated my visits around the Biltmore estate and downtown with all of the great restaurants. A friend recommended that we try the Omni Grove Park Inn so on our way back from Hilton Head we decided last minute to book a room here. What an absolutely beautiful, historic hotel which has undergone significant modernization since its origins in the early 20th century. The rooms in the historic section have a queen bed, but they face the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and the windows even open so you can enjoy the cool mountain breeze. They are simply furnished with beautiful oak furniture fitting for the history. We had a splurge of a dinner on the outdoor sunset terrace. It was expensive (very) but wonderful for a special occasion. You could always drive into Asheville and eat at any number of wonderful restaurants, but the view here can't be beat! At least have a drink on one of the patios. There seems to be a lot to do at this resort as well, but for us it was simply an extravagant stopping place while we travelled. We're glad we did.

  • Beauty and Grace

Whether you're staying at the GPI as a guest or simply having a romantic dinner, the beauty that surrounds you is breathtaking. You're sure to find your getaway niche sitting in a rocking chair in front of the warm and cozy fireplaces in the historic inn, taking advantage of the unique spa treatments, or simply the gorgeous views off the back terrace. It's definitely something to add to your bucket list!

  • Gorgeous Property

    by DacaL_13 on 2019-05-19 12:25 am

I stayed at the Omni for a work retreat in May. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We used the meeting and leisure facilities. Everywhere you look there are stunning views!

The Omni staff were phenomenal, not overbearing in their approach to service, but still attentive. The only reason I rated the hotel a four is because of the rooms, the could us a refresh.

I plan to go back to this property with my spouse.

  • Awesome Weekend getaway!

    by Hunt H on 2019-05-18 03:03 am

The Omni Grove Park is awesome. This was our tenth trip. The Spa is such a great place to relax and unwind. It rained all day Saturday, but the Spa has so much indoor space you can still enjoy it all. We don't even leave the resort! We too the historical tour on this visit and it was very interesting and gave us a view of the historical part of the inn along with all the fascinating history.
